Jonathan Wheatley – Editor
Our gatekeeper of words, Jon joined the Property Collection in February 2019 as a copywriter and quickly worked his way up the ladder.
Before switching to a writing career, Jon had a wide and varied list of jobs including senior sales, marketing and customer service roles including working overseas, as Operations Manager for a market-leading travel company, and as a Sales Team Leader and Senior Negotiator for a local estate agent.
His expertise and knowledge in estate agency and his extensive marketing know-how make him the perfect person to ensure our member's needs are fully understood and then shared in a clear way. Ambitious and driven, Jon will always make sure all communication is well-written and easy to understand.
In 2019, he took the hard decision to completely change the direction of his career, leaving sales for good to follow his dreams to be a writer. He is in his fifth year of a Language, Literature and Creative Writing degree with the Open University, and has released three Top 10 novels.
When he isn't at work, or working on a new novel, he loves spending time with his two sons going on nature walks, being out in the greenhouse, creating oil paintings of his local village, trying out new recipes and doing lots and lots of reading…
Jon lives in Ketton, Rutland with his partner and has two boys, aged 3 and 5. He brings a positive, can-do attitude to the team and a huge amount of creativity.
