Surveyors across the UK predict house prices to continue to rise over the next year
With the property market still booming, and properties selling faster than ever, a majority of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) members believe that prices will continue to rise over the next year due to a lack of available properties.
Last month, the number of new properties coming to the market fell by a third, however, there was no let-up in demand which led to continued increases in house prices across the UK. With demand increasing and supply continuing to falter, a net balance of 83% of surveyors reported an increase.
With the number of properties coming to the market being massively outstripped by demand, it makes it even more important to gain market share at this time.
